Here you can find mpeg files of the video tapes of the FTC Spam Forum that took place in Washington, DC on April 30 through May 2 of 2003.

To those of you who are concerned that these tapes may be copyrighted: Neither the video tapes nor anything on the FTC website indicates that the tapes are copyrighted. I have attempted to contact both the FTC at the e-mail address they set up for the workshop as well as Video Labs, the company that is selling the tapes to enquire about this. As of June 19 I have not received any response to my repeated questions. If, at any time, I do hear back from the FTC or Video Labs that these tapes are indeed copyrighted then I will immediately remove them from this site and post a notice to this effect.

There are 13 tapes in all. Be aware that each mpeg file is fairly large - roughly half a gigabyte or more. Written transcripts (in PDF format) are also availble if you don't/can't handle the size of the mpegs. The quality of each mpeg varies. It's obvious that the person/people behind the camera are not professional camera-people. Some of the video tapes have poor quality audio (buzzing, etc), in many of them it's difficult to hear questions posed by audience members, and in some the audio completely cuts out when the video is switched from the camera to overhead projections.

Transcripts as obtained from the FTC website: (see the FTC site for more PDF's of handouts, presentations, etc)

Here are the mpegs. These are in MPEG-1 format which everybody should be able to handle:
